I’ve spent much of my career helping individuals heal from trauma—and helping organizations better support the people they serve and employ.

As the former Clinical Director of the first organization in Austin to formally adopt a trauma-informed care model, I’ve seen how powerful systems change can be when it’s rooted in values like safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment. I’ve guided teams through culture shifts, trained staff at every level, and witnessed how thoughtful implementation can transform both outcomes and workplace wellbeing.

I’m also the founder and former Chair of the Trauma-Informed Care Consortium of Central Texas, a multidisciplinary collaborative of over 100 organizations committed to improving trauma-informed practices across the region. Additionally, I’ve collaborated with the National Council for Behavioral Health’s Trauma-Informed Learning Collaborative, to bring these learnings here.

Now, through my private practice, I work directly with organizations, leaders, and systems to bring trauma-informed care to life in real, practical, and sustainable ways.
